America: Is She Worth Fighting For?
After the 2020 election, rather than succumbing to despair, I resolved to take action.
In 2020, following the contentious election of Joe Biden, I found myself enveloped in a sense of defeat and hopelessness. The collective efforts to “Stop the Steal” seemed to crumble before our eyes, and as January 6 unfolded, many found themselves imprisoned while Donald Trump urged his supporters to return home peacefully. In that moment of reflection, I questioned: Is America really worth fighting for? Was Ashli Babbitt’s tragic loss worth it? Was it worth the price of incarceration?
These questions led me to ponder the sacrifices made by those who came before us. I thought about the brave men who fought and died in the Revolutionary War, and the staggering 600,000 lives lost during the Civil War — each one passionately defending their beliefs. Their motivations were clear: they were fighting for freedom, a fundamental right that defines our nation. This realization ignited a fire within me. Rather than succumbing to despair, I resolved to take action. I committed myself to grassroots initiatives aimed at reclaiming the America we cherish.
What ensued was an arduous journey, one that unfolded over four years and involved a historic campaign to restore our nation from those who place deception and global interests above the American ethos. From the beginning, it was evident that this would be a challenging battle. Although I may have limped across the finish line, I emerged not just as a participant but as a victor.
Throughout this struggle, my driving force has always been my family. I want my sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to grasp that every effort I made was for their benefit. My fight extended beyond the immediate; it was about preserving a legacy of freedom and opportunity for future generations.
America is undeniably a land worth defending — a shining beacon of hope and resilience. As we move forward, let us continue to advocate for freedom and ensure that it remains an enduring presence in our lives and the lives of those yet to come. Together, we can champion the values that make this country great.
