Here’s news you probably haven’t heard much about. In December 2024, representatives of the lame duck Biden administration held a secret meeting in Switzerland with their counterparts from the Chinese communist regime. What the Chinese said shocked the U.S. delegation.
 
They admitted to years and years of dangerous cyberattacks against the United States.
 
We’ve told you about those attacks. They were carried out by a Beijing-backed group called “Volt Typhoon.” They hacked into major U.S. telecommunications systems, our utilities, our water systems, our ports, and other critical infrastructure. They hacked U.S. government networks, gaining detailed information on federal employees.
 
The Left goes into a panic over the idea that Elon Musk might have access to information about federal bureaucrats. But when the communist Chinese stole information on federal employees, it was a one-day story and a collective yawn.
 
The Chinese communists also hacked into our airports during Biden’s presidency. Thursday, two planes ran into each other on the ground at Reagan National Airport. We still don’t know what caused a military helicopter to collide with a civilian passenger jet near Reagan National Airport in late January.
 
Multiple unnamed officials in our intelligence agencies can’t understand why the Chinese communists would “confess” to the hacking. Was it a mistranslation?
 
No, I think it was a warning and a threat.
 
The Chinese communists were telling us that they have the ability to shut off our water, our lights, and our phones, and ground our airplanes in the event of a military confrontation over Taiwan or anything else.
 
We have been warning for years that communist China is preparing for war against the United States. Yet, right now, the entire left-wing establishment is doing everything it possibly can to prevent President Trump from weaning America off our dependency on cheap Chinese goods.
 
The Left has people freaking out that their medications might cost more. How about having no medications if war breaks out?
 
It became painfully obvious during COVID that we needed to reshore pharmaceutical production to America. It’s a national emergency. We have to do it. Well, Novartis, a major European drug company, just announced a $23 billion investment to expand pharmaceutical production here in the United States.
 
Bingo! That’s what Trump’s tariffs are all about.
 
 
 
A Clear Message
 
Last week’s story about the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy got me thinking.
 
The Biden administration promoted atheism in foreign countries with our tax money. Here at home, they ordered a painting of Jesus at the Merchant Marine Academy to be taken down because it might offend non-Christians.
 
The Biden administration promoted transgender ideology in foreign countries and pushed it on our kids in our schools with our tax money. They ordered chaplains at veterans’ hospitals not to give Christian sermons. (Update below.)
 
They’re happy to offend parents and Christians by exposing our children to drag queens and totally inappropriate sex information. Then they tell parents, “Don’t complain, or we’ll put you on a terrorist watch list!”
 
There is a very real culture war going on right now in America. (See next item.) Even the best of us forget about it sometimes, but far too many just want to pretend it isn’t happening.
 
We pray for a revival. The Left works for a god-free America. What we desperately want, they despise and desperately want to prevent.
 
 
 
Children At Risk
 
The Colorado House of Representatives just rammed through legislation making it a crime to “misgender” someone. Under this bill, if you refuse to call a man “she,” you’re guilty of a civil rights violation. So much for free speech.
 
If your seven year-old son says, “I want to be called Sally,” and you remind him that he’s a boy, you can be fined and lose custody of your child – to a state bureaucracy that demands he be sterilized and physically mutilated. Just think about that!
 
Democrats, who dominate the legislature, used an obscure rule to shut down any debate on this extreme legislation. They weren’t interested in debate because, as one Democrat representative put it, parents who oppose this insanity are “hateful,” and their opinions are just as vile as KKK members. How’s that for “tolerance”?
 
There’s no “live and let live” with the intolerant left. They intend to force us to bow to their radical demands. If you’re a Christian who believes God created us male and female, you’re a bigot, and the state will take away your kids.
 
This is why, probably to the point of irritation, I keep telling pastors, people sitting in the pews, the heads of Christian schools, and anyone else who will listen to elect Christians at all levels of government.
 
In my view, at this particular moment in America, it is sinful if we are not using the rights we enjoy – for now – to protect our fellow believers who are under attack all over the country.
 
Wake up, Church! Get involved before it’s too late!
 
 
 
DOGE Does It Again
 
Elon Musk and the DOGE team recently audited the unemployment system at the Department of Labor. Once again, they were stunned by the waste and fraud they discovered. Here’s what they found: 

• 24,500 people over 115 years-old received $59 million in unemployment benefits during the Biden/Harris years.
• 28,000 people between 1 and 5 years-old got $254 million in benefits.
• 9,700 people with birth dates over 15 years in the future got $69 million in benefits. Someone with a birthday in 2154 – 129 years from now! – got $41,000. 

 
Reacting to this discovery, Elon Musk said, “This is so crazy that I had to read it several times before it sank in.” 
 
In related news, a survey, independent of DOGE, examined Social Security disability payments. It uncovered evidence of outrageous abuse and corruption that is costing taxpayers billions of dollars.
 
The survey found that 85 administrative law judges have extraordinarily high approval rates. (I’m not talking about popularity.) These judges routinely approve disability claims even after the claim was first denied and after the appeal is denied.
 
So, these judges are overturning decisions made by two career Social Security staff members in order to approve these claims. Okay, people make mistakes. Maybe a third look at something is justified.
 
But all 85 of these judges approved claims more than 80% of the time. Several had approval rates of 90% or more on thousands of cases. How is that possible? Are so many Social Security employees really that bad at their jobs?
 
Well, one judge – a Bernie Sanders supporter no less – said many of his fellow judges “viewed their job as a way to steer government checks to minorities, regardless of the facts.” In other words, they’re using Social Security disability payments as a form of “reparations.”

Chag Sameach
 
This past weekend, our Jewish friends and neighbors observed Passover. They recalled the story of the enslavement of the Jewish people in Egypt and their rescue and liberation by God.
 
But the observance is supposed to be more than a recollection. Jews are called to imagine that they personally were enslaved and led out of Egypt by God.
 
This Passover, Jews are praying for another “Exodus.” Even now, they are prisoners being held by their enemies in a foreign land.
 
In America, too, the ancient hatred is stirring again. What are we to conclude when thousands march on the campuses of our finest universities and in the streets of our cities supporting the death cult of Hamas over the democratic nation of Israel?
 
Why do so many powerful people in our country ignore or make excuses for the hateful rhetoric of students and professors at the “finest” schools in America?
 
This Passover is a good time for Christians to remember God demands of us moral courage as the storm clouds, once again, form on the horizon.

Good News 

• The Department of Veterans Affairs revoked a letter of reprimand punishing a military chaplain for delivering an explicitly Christian sermon. VA Secretary Doug Collins, a former military chaplain, said the Biden administration was wrong to reprimand the chaplain and added that there is no policy that restricts chaplain sermons. 

• House Republicans passed three important bills last week. One restricts the ability of federal district court judges to issue nationwide injunctions. Another bill requires proof of citizenship when people register to vote to ensure illegal aliens are not voting. The final “big, beautiful” bill starts the process for the GOP Congress to pass President Trump’s America First agenda, but there’s still a lot of heavy lifting ahead. 

• The Producer Price Index, a key measure of inflation, fell last month to 2.7%. The “experts” had predicted a slight increase from 3.2% to 3.3%.  

• Idaho Gov. Brad Little signed legislation into law protecting women’s spaces in colleges, domestic violence shelters, and prisons from men pretending to be women. 

• The Democrats’ massive 1 million+ voter registration advantage in the key swing state of Pennsylvania has been virtually wiped out. 

• Three states – Kansas, Kentucky, and Wyoming – enacted laws preventing foreign funding of state ballot measures.
