Wednesday night’s Easter prayer service and dinner, hosted by President Trump at the White House, was an extraordinary event. I was honored to join Franklin Graham and a small group of other Christian leaders who were invited. Incredibly, after a very long day, the president spent the entire evening with us.
 
The event began with Charles Billingsley singing a moving rendition of the Lord’s Prayer, which echoed through the halls of the White House, “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name…”
 
No one at the White House was concerned that atheists would be offended. No one tried to hide this event for fear of negative media coverage. This Easter prayer service, held at the center of American power, was live streamed on C-SPAN and multiple White House social media platforms so millions in America and around the world could see it.
 
Prior to this prayerful event, President Trump issued the most extraordinary Holy Week proclamation I have ever read by any president. You can access it here.  
 
Previous presidents tended to give Jesus only a passing mention in these kinds of statements. The one Biden issued last year did even less. But the proclamation by President Trump was the Gospel, and he delivered it more clearly than most “woke” so-called “mainline” churches will this Sunday.
 
When the dinner ended, President Trump took us on a personal tour of the upstairs private residence. He offered important details about each room and shared his thoughts about Abraham Lincoln’s struggles to lead a deeply divided nation.
 
God laid on my heart to tell President Trump that there was only one huge division in Lincoln’s time – the question of whether one man could own another man. The only moral answer to that question was “No.”
 
But we are divided by a dozen major questions today. Just as Lincoln was God’s man in the crisis of the Civil War, I told President Trump that he is the right man to lead us now in these dangerous and divisive times.
 
Of course, he needed no reminder of the times we are in. He has been viciously smeared and persecuted and was almost killed trying to save our country.
 
This great experiment in “ordered liberty under God” is at a fork in the road. One path leads to destruction; the other to American renewal. President Trump will not falter in this struggle. Nor can we. Pray for him, his family, and our country.
 
 
 
Gaga For Gang Members
 
More is coming out about Kilmar Garcia, the illegal alien gang member the Trump administration returned to his home country of El Salvador, and the thug Democrats are tripping over themselves to defend.
 
Court records detailing the domestic abuse restraining orders requested by his wife have been released. She told police that Garcia was prone to violent outbursts and physically attacked her at least twice.
 
According to the police reports, Garcia smashed his wife’s laptop. He punched her in the face, giving her a black eye. He ripped her clothes off. And he hit her with a work boot. His wife wrote, “At this point, I am afraid to be close to him. I have multiple photos/videos of how violent he can be and all the bruises he has left me.”
 
We have also learned that this “Maryland father” was stopped in Tennessee for a traffic violation in December 2022. Police discovered that Garcia did not have a valid driver’s license. They also found seven people in the van he was driving from Texas to Maryland.
 
This routine traffic violation turned into a two-hour stop for human trafficking, leading the Tennessee Highway Patrol to contact the FBI. But Biden’s FBI was too busy spying on churches and tracking down praying grandmothers at the Capitol Building to deal with human trafficking.
 
In 2019, Garcia was arrested with two other MS-13 gang members. Garcia was found with rolls of cash wrapped in a specific way known to be an MS-13 gang sign.
 
Speaking on Laura Ingraham’s show Wednesday night, Border Czar Tom Homan said, “I talked to an MS-13 expert today who also showed me pictures of his [Abrego Garcia’s] hand, where he says, ‘Absolutely the tattoo on one of his hands was absolutely an MS-13 gang tattoo.’ Nothing questionable about it.”
 
This is the “hero” of the Democrat resistance movement – a wife beater, a human trafficker, and a gang member.
 
 
 
Left-wing Lunacy
 
It’s almost impossible to comprehend the mindset of today’s Left.
 
If there was a public announcement seeking lawyers to defend Garcia and advocate for his return to America, you’d need an 800 number with multiple lines and operators. There would be a flood of lawyers, trained by our woke elite law schools, eager to be known as “the guy who got Garcia back.” That would make their career for the rest of their life. 
 
Senators Chris Van Hollen and Cory Booker desperately want to be president. For whatever reason, they believe siding with this thug is their path to the presidency. This is what they get emotional about.
 
The removal of an illegal alien gang member and wife beater is what causes them to start quoting the Constitution, a document they are rarely interested in when it comes to the rights of the American people.
 
And, of course, the media are all in on this borderless society the Left wants to build. In the past week, the big three networks devoted 64 minutes to Garcia and zero minutes to the trial of an illegal alien who brutally murdered Rachel Morin, a Maryland mother of five.
 
Rachel’s mother, Patty Morin, joined us at the Easter dinner Wednesday night. Earlier in the day, she spoke to the White House press corps and described what was done to her daughter in the last minutes of her life.
 
Imagine the worst animalistic behavior you can. That’s what was done to her daughter by an illegal alien, and her senator is in El Salvador trying to bring another illegal alien back to America. There was virtually no coverage of her daughter’s trial and no coverage of her statement at the White House.
 
The needless suffering and victimization of American citizens at the hands of violent illegal aliens who never should have been here and who is responsible for that suffering is the national debate that we should be having.
 
But the entire left-wing establishment is focused on Garcia. The message they are sending is, “Ignore the dead Americans. They’re nothing but collateral damage to the America we want to build.”
 
 
 
Left-wing Hate
 
We have two updates on previous reports from this week providing more examples of left-wing hate.
 
When I told you about the raucous reaction of midshipmen at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy’s call to bring the iconic painting “Christ on the Water” out of the basement, I jokingly suggested they would be denounced as “Christian nationalists.”
 
Sadly, I was right.
 
Mikey Weinstein, founder of the militant atheist group Military Religious Freedom Foundation, called the midshipmen who enthusiastically cheered Duffy’s call “cowards” and “stinking piece of sh** Christian nationalist insects.”
 
He berated Duffy as a “feral dog … bereft of any semblance of morality” and called MAGA conservatives “filthy, ignorant, hateful, bigoted scum.” Then Weinstein promised “World War 8” if Donald Trump tried to put the painting back in its original location. 
 
Another reminder that we are in a very real culture war with bigoted, intolerant leftists.
 
Finally, we speculated that the firebombing of Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro’s home on the first weekend of Passover probably wasn’t just a random coincidence. We were right.
 
Police reports indicate that the arsonist, an avowed socialist, targeted the home of the Jewish governor because he was angry over “Palestine.” In other words, he’s an ally of the leftist antisemites on our college campuses chanting genocidal calls for the destruction of Israel.
