Leftist ideology is putting America’s children at serious risk of emotional, mental, and physical harm. (See next item.) Thankfully, the Trump administration is fighting back to protect our children.
 
Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a memorandum instructing the Justice Department to “enforce rigorous protections and hold accountable those who prey on vulnerable children and their parents.”
 
The Trump Justice Department is going after doctors and drug companies pushing “gender-affirming care,” which is neither “affirming” or “care.” Bondi declared:
 
“The Department of Justice will not sit idly by while doctors, motivated by ideology, profits, or both, exploit and mutilate our children. Under my watch, the Department will act decisively to protect our children and hold accountable those who mutilate them under the guise of care.” 
 
Thank God!
 
American Values looks forward to working with the Trump administration on this critically important effort. Research increasingly shows that transgender procedures are not based on science, are not effective, and are not addressing the right issues.
 
 
 
Left-wing Lunacy
 
I am increasingly confident that we will win the case argued before the Supreme Court this week about the right of religious parents to protect their children from inappropriate material in the public schools. I hope it is a broad victory.
 
Most of the justices on our side seemed to understand that Maryland bureaucrats were violating the free exercise of religion of the parents. If the case is settled on the free exercise issue alone, it will be a victory, but it won’t be broad enough in my view.
 
Even a secular parent should have authority over state bureaucrats about what their child is taught on matters of gender, love, and sex. It’s fine that this case is being seen as a religious liberty case, but it should be seen as a religious liberty case AND a parental rights case.
 
No one should doubt that this entire controversy is about the Left using government schools to indoctrinate our children into trans ideology insanity. Here’s a quote from a teacher’s manual on how to explain gender to young children:
 
“When we are born, people make a guess about our gender and label us ‘boy’ or ‘girl’ based on our body parts. Sometimes they’re right, and sometimes they’re wrong. Our body parts do not decide our gender. Our gender comes from inside — we might feel different than what people tell us we are.”
 
This is the sick, twisted, perverted lie the Left wants to teach our children! It is blatant indoctrination and obvious recruitment.

Niche Markets
 
Adidas is a major sponsor of the Boston Marathon, the world’s oldest and most prestigious marathon race. The company has also launched major ad campaigns to promote women in sports. (Here and here.)
 
But this year, for the first time ever, the Boston Marathon allowed men to compete in the women’s division.
 
This development comes in spite of the fact that the Boston Marathon features three divisions – men, women, and non-binary. For the last two years in a row, men have won the “non-binary” division.
 
Presumably, it won’t be long before men win all three divisions. And Adidas, in spite of their faux support of women, will be just fine with that.
 
And it isn’t just Adidas. Nike, which eagerly embraced anti-American Marxist Colin Kaepernick, is making headlines again.
 
The New York Times reports that the sports apparel company, which also claims to be a “champion” of women’s sports, is paying for “research” measuring the physical effects of powerful sterilizing drugs and other transgender procedures on children.
 
What’s the point of these bizarre experiments? To find the level of medical intervention necessary to ensure a “trans girl” (a boy pretending to be a girl) doesn’t have a biological advantage over real girls?
 
Pandering to transgender athletes is one heck of a niche market. It’s also a huge betrayal of women’s rights.
 
Tennis icon Martina Navratilova is a left-wing Democrat on most issues. But not when it comes to men in women’s sports. She blasted Nike, saying:
 
“I’m still stunned by this. Nike is funding a study that disfigured young boys to understand if they can be physically impaired enough to compete with girls without significant ‘retained male advantage’. Why is a sneaker brand doing medical experiments on children?”
 
I realize Adidas and Nike are in the business of selling products to customers. That’s capitalism, and I’m all for companies making profits.
 
But capitalism without morality inevitably ends up doing things like making shoes with slave labor in communist China and funding grotesque experiments on confused children.
 
 
 
The “Maryland Man”
 
There is more news on the “Maryland man,” aka Kilmar Garcia, who is now the Left’s patron saint of open borders.
 
When Tennessee Highway Patrol officers stopped him and found eight people in the van he was driving, the officers knew something was up. They suspected human trafficking, but Biden’s FBI told the officers to release them, which they did.
 
We just learned that the van Garcia was driving was owned by a convicted human trafficker, an illegal alien sentenced to prison in 2020.
 
So, just to recap: 

• Garcia had restraining orders against him for beating his wife.
• Two courts determined he was a member of MS-13.
• He was stopped while trafficking human beings in a van owned by a convicted human smuggler.

 
How could anyone possibly be against this “Maryland man”? (Yes, I’m being sarcastic.)
 
He’s like the “California man” who murdered 13-year-old Omar Hernandez. Or the “Georgia man” who murdered Laken Riley. Or the other “Maryland man” who was just arrested for murdering his girlfriend. Of course, they are all illegal aliens.
 
But in a ludicrous attempt to disguise that fact, Democrats and their media allies are referring to them as if they were constituents and state residents. Democrats probably assume that they’re voters, too. They’re certainly treating them that way!
 
I’m not exaggerating. In 318 reports in recent weeks, CNN and MSNBC referred to Garcia as a “Maryland man” more than 500 times, while referring to his illegal status only 32 times.
 
The point of this propaganda is to scare you into thinking that you or any other citizen could be the next person to be detained and deported. It’s dishonest, and it’s demagoguery!
 
 
 
Trump’s Success
 
Every day, it becomes increasingly obvious that Donald Trump has radically transformed the immigration debate. In 2017, his approach was somewhat controversial. The public wasn’t sure about building a wall and large-scale deportations.
 
After four years of Biden’s open borders and record illegal immigration, that’s all changed. Now Americans overwhelmingly support Trump’s positions. In three months, he ended the open borders disaster that Democrats inflicted on us. Illegal immigration is now at record lows.
 
The Trump administration has achieved the equivalent of kicking nearly 450,000 illegal aliens out of the country. How’s that? 

• Under Joe Biden, an average of 535,000 illegal aliens crossed the southern border during the first three months of 2022, 2023, and 2024. That’s 535,000 illegal aliens entering the country the first quarter of every year for three years. 

• Under Donald Trump, just over 84,000 illegal aliens were apprehended at the border during the first quarter of 2025 and most were turned back.

 
President Trump has prevented at least 450,000 illegal aliens from entering the country compared to the 535,000 illegal aliens Joe Biden was letting in every three months!
 
 
 
Moral Bankruptcy
 
This week, there was yet another disgusting display of Jew-hatred at our elite “institutions of higher learning.” This time at Yale.
 
Hamas sympathizers blocked off an entire area of the campus, declared it a Jew-free zone, and blocked any Jewish students who tried to cross their blockade.
 
As a result, Yale suspended two pro-Hamas groups, including Students for Justice in Palestine. That’s a small step in the right direction.
 
Meanwhile, the Hamas Youth at Columbia are getting restless again and planning new encampments, and the president of Harvard is refusing to “compromise” with Donald Trump. Compromise over what? Harvard’s antisemitism?!
 
The moral bankruptcy of America’s left-wing indoctrination centers is on full display.
 
 
 
Never Again
 
At 10:00 AM yesterday in Israel, everything came to a complete stop. Buses stopped. Cars stopped, and drivers got out. People on sidewalks stopped. The whole nation came to a standstill as sirens wailed. Yesterday was Yom HaShoah, Israel’s Holocaust Remembrance Day.
 
In a proclamation recognizing Yom Hashoah, President Trump noted that our universities must do a much better job of recognizing and remembering the dangers of antisemitism. The president declared:
 
“Sadly, our Nation has borne witness to the worst outbreak of anti-Semitism on American soil in generations. Nearly every day following the deadly October 7, 2023, attack on Israel, Jewish Americans were threatened on our streets and in our public square — a reminder that the poison of anti-Semitism tragically still exists.
 
"For that reason, my Administration is proudly upholding the basic truth that anti-Semitism has no place in a civilized society… We are also steadfastly committed to investigating and swiftly punishing all anti-Semitic discrimination in leftist, anti-American colleges and universities.
 
"During these Days of Remembrance of Victims of the Holocaust, we reflect upon the dark affront to human dignity posed by Nazis. We cherish the eternal memories of all those whose lives were lost to the deadly scourge of anti-Semitism. Above all, we vow to never forget the atrocities of the Holocaust. We declare that never again means now.”
