Tuesday night, President Trump celebrated the first 100 days of his second term at a rally in Warren, Michigan. In his 90-minute speech, the president described his incredible achievements, including lower gas prices, lower prescription drug prices, lower egg prices, lower mortgage rates, and more.
 
Here are a few highlights of the president’s remarks on his signature issues.
 
On the border, Trump said:
 
“The last administration engineered a massive border invasion, allowing gangs, cartels, and terrorists to infiltrate our communities and rape and murder our citizens… But standing before you today, I can proudly report that this heinous betrayal is over…
 
"We’ve set all-time records for the lowest number of illegal border crossings ever recorded… The number of illegal border crossers released into the United States is down, listen to this please, 99.999%… Nothing will stop me in the mission to keep America safe again.”
 
On trade and rebuilding America, Trump said:
 
“And now we’re respected all over the world. They’re coming from all over the world to see your president. They’re coming from India. They’re coming from France. They’re coming from Spain… They’re coming from all over the world to see your president. They want to make a deal…
 
"With my China tariffs, we’re ending the greatest job theft in the history of the world. China has taken more jobs from us than any country has ever taken from another country. . . Trillions of dollars are now pouring into the United States because of common sense, just common sense…

The MAGA Movement
 
President Trump also expressed what the conservative populist MAGA movement is all about. Echoing themes from his first inaugural address, Trump said:
 
"We’re taking back our country from a sick political class that got rich selling America out and bleeding America dry. We don’t let that happen anymore…
 
"After decades of politicians who destroyed Detroit to build up Beijing, you finally have a champion for workers in the White House. And instead of putting China first, I’m putting Michigan first, and I’m putting America first.
 
"After a lifetime of unelected bureaucrats stealing your paychecks, attacking your values, and trampling your freedoms, we are stopping their gravy train, ending their power trip, and telling thousands of corrupt, incompetent, and unnecessary Deep State bureaucrats, ‘You’re fired’…
 
"We’re ushering out the long reign of special interests and the radical left lunatics, and we’re ushering in the golden age of America… I’m proud to be the president for the workers and not the outsourcers. The president who stands up for Main Street, not Wall Street… And we want to protect the middle class.”
 
 
 
The Other 100 Days
 
We know what President Trump accomplished in the first 100 days of his second term. What about the “loyal opposition”? For the past 100 days, all we’ve gotten is hate and obstruction.
 
They demonized Elon Musk, inciting a wave of vandalism and violence against him and totally innocent Tesla owners. More than 40% of Tesla owners report that their cars have been vandalized by leftists. I’m not surprised. The Left hates the whole concept of private property.
 
Socialists in Congress, Marxists on our university campuses, and rogue judges have gone all out to block Trump’s deportation of criminal illegal aliens. Like a drunken gambler at a card game in a brothel, they doubled down and doubled down and doubled down again.
 
They’re demanding things that would take decades of “due process” before illegal aliens could be deported. They just want to stall until they take back power so they can open the borders again and finish the job of erasing the America we love.
 
They launched a 100-day campaign of propaganda to frighten the elderly. No matter how many times the president says he is not cutting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, Democrats say over and over, “Trump is cutting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.” And their media co-conspirators never fact-check them.
 
They doubled down on assassination porn, regularly using violent language that predictably will inspire more assassination attempts. Polling shows their base wants Trump dead.
 
The “dynamic duo” of Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are conducting a nationwide campaign for socialism.
 
Then there was the performative art. Sen. Cory Booker filibustered nothing. He got on the Senate floor when there was no legislation pending to rail against Donald Trump for 25 hours. And after that, they staged a sit-in on the Capitol steps, which 12 people showed up for, and accused Trump and all conservatives of being “traitors.”
 
 
 
Impeachment Fever
 
Radical leftists just can’t help themselves. They impeached President Trump the first time he was in office, and they impeached him again after he left office. And now that he’s back in office, the Left’s impeachment fever is also back.
 
Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI) introduced articles of impeachment against the president on Monday. Trump has barely been in office for three months!
 
Thanedar’s motivation is pure power politics. He is actually facing a serious primary challenge from the progressive left for not being radical enough. He’s also got “a closet full of skeletons.”
 
Before entering politics, Thanedar ran a company that performed pharmaceutical lab testing on animals. When his company went bankrupt, Thanedar left more than 100 beagles and monkeys in his lab to starve to death. Thankfully, they were rescued in time.  
 
Thanedar was also accused of defrauding investors by overinflating the value of another company he previously ran. He settled that case out of court just days before it went to trial.
 
How does a loser like this even get elected? Rush Limbaugh’s phrase “low-information voters” comes to mind. Thanedar represents a very Blue district that voted for Kamala Harris by 42 points. Prior to the 2022 redistricting, much of Thanedar’s district was represented by radical antisemite Rashida Tlaib.
 
 
 
Priorities & Propaganda
 
There’s a saying in Washington – “Personnel is policy.” As we have seen from the Deep State’s sabotage of Trump and any conservative administration, it is vital to appoint the right people to key positions.
 
President Trump’s choice of Harmeet Dhillon as assistant attorney general for civil rights was one of his best. The left despises her, so the lynch mobs are out.
 
There’s been a blizzard of propaganda claiming that Dhillon was “sparking a bloodbath” in the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. Other headlines warned of an “exodus” of hundreds of lawyers and staff. That’s about the only thing the media got right.
 
Now, here’s what is really happening.
 
Assistant Attorney General Dhillon made it absolutely clear that the Biden/Harris era is over and the priorities of the Civil Rights Division are changing.
 
In addition to enforcing civil rights laws, the Justice Department is going to aggressively defend our whole Constitution and Bill of Rights, including free speech and religious liberty, as well as our Second Amendment rights to protect ourselves and our families.
 
The Trump Justice Department will stop targeting the police officers who risk their lives to keep us safe and will instead go after the criminals making our streets, schools, and neighborhoods unsafe.
 
Instead of persecuting and prosecuting praying grandmothers and peaceful pro-life activists, the Justice Department will go after pro-abortion radicals who vandalized and firebombed crisis pregnancy centers.
 
It will aggressively prosecute cases of antisemitism and DEI-based employment discrimination that puts Marxist ideology before merit.
 
Noting that she previously represented four detransitioners, including Chloe Cole, Dhillon said the Justice Department will protect parental rights and protect children from transgender insanity.
 
And that’s why so many left-wing lawyers and young radicalized staff quit their jobs in the Civil Rights Division. They spent the last four years attacking our rights and values. They have zero interest in defending them.
 
The media are in nonstop propaganda mode. It’s not just “fake news” or “misinformation.” It’s a deliberate propaganda campaign of lies and smears against the duly elected president of the United States, his agenda, and his supporters.
 
 
 
Media Bias
 
A bunch of left-wing Washington reporters got together last week for their annual awards dinner. The award for Overall Excellence in White House Coverage in 2024 went to Axios reporter Alex Thompson for noticing what every other “mainstream” journalist “missed” – Biden’s cognitive decline.
 
Of course, that’s a complete lie. They didn’t “miss” it. They all knew about it. And this “award” is just another part of the cover-up.
 
But that wasn’t the only outrageous award.
